Welcome to the best years of your life. Manchester is such a vibrant, varied city with enough bars, music and shops that you can shake a drunken finger at.
My advice to all your freshers is to really live your life to the full. For many this is the first time you have moved away from home, from your friends and are embarking on a brand new adventure.
Embrace every moment of it, I know myself what an exciting but daunting experience it can be. My word of advice would be – don’t care too much about what other people think. Don’t follow the crowd. If you want to do a certain something then do it! This is the time for you to be who you want to be.
Work hard, play hard and enjoy.
